The City of Norfolk is interested in gathering information related to the public bike sharing concept and market in order to evaluate it's suitability and efficiency for the City's residents, commuters, visitors, shoppers, businesses, and students. The intent of this RFI for the City of Norfolk to request information from industry providers and experts about Public Bike Share (PBS) systems, vendors, and operators to include: the latest technology, its capabilities, functionalities, limitations, industry standards, measures, and a non-binding estimated cost structure for the system.  The City is requesting only companies that have direct knowledge and experience with the current Public Bike (PBS) systems available, as well as with case studies regarding its actual use by other municipalities, to respond to this RFI.
