Interested in seeing how many bikes were available at Grand Central Station at 6:27 pm on July 10th? There’s a map for that.

Using the open-source data that Citi Bike provides to the public, The New Yorker has created an interactive map that depicts a chronology of Citi Bike usage over the last two months. Not only can we go back in time and see how many bikes were available at any specific time, we can also see travel patterns and evaluate the needs for more or less stations and bieks in a given area.
